From Tokyo to Wellington: The Liam A/W ’14 collection and backstage snaps from the RUBY & Liam Wellington Fashion Week Show

The latest collection from Liam premiered in Wellington on Friday and we can’t get enough of it.

Inspired by a three-storey curtain that runs down two sides of a Shigeru Ban house in Tokyo, the Liam Autumn/Winter ’14 collection ‘Perception’ made for an incredible show at Wellington Fashion Week.

Check out some of the backstage snaps below from the Liam and RUBY show at Wellington Fashion Week, then keep reading for information and images on the Liam 'Perception' collection.

For Liam Autumn/Winter 2014, designer Emily Miller-Sharma has explored the juxtaposition of two elements and how one influences our perception of the other.

She has created a fresh collection that plays with the combination of opposing materials and silhouettes. Opaque and transparent silk, heavy-knit rib offset by a silk crepe de chine and boxy silhouettes seen throughout the collection. Blocks of white and black are interspersed with a petrol, burgundy, aqua and dusky pink colour palette.

Drool over some pictures from the dreamy look book below!

Although finding a new winter wardrobe can be fun, it can also be a mission. That's why we love it when the likes of Calvin Klein Jeans have us completely covered, with an extensive Autumn/Winter collection for both men and women.

Calvin Klein Jeans on High Street now has heaps of new stock in store and there are plenty of items from the new season that we absolutely love! We particularly love this bold blue shirt for the dudes and this gorgeous grey dress for the girls. But that's only the tip of the iceberg (excuse the winter pun)...

Yeah, Calvin Klein Jeans is much more than just jeans!

Leave it to Calvin Klein Jeans to introduce a collection that is bold and edgy, while still maintaining the cool and classic aesthetic that has made this one of the most popular and recognisable fashion brands for decades.

Artisan tailoring meets Oliver Twist meets city grunge. There's a blend you probably never thought you'd hear. Well it's a good way to sum up Standard Issue’s new winter knitwear collection.

This season the clever New Zealand brand wants to take us back to Victorian London so we can forever live in the comfort of a Charles Dickens novel...

This collection gives us sweet knitted tweed cardigans, Victorian ruffles and over-sized capes, all with a slight dose of the grunge style we love at Remix. With the collection inspired by none other than Mr Dickens, you'll notice an exclusively designed print drawn from the Oliver Twist novel itself.

Standard Issue is renowned for creating original, wearable knitwear. All designed and made here in New Zealand, they use some of the most advanced technology to make whole, seamless, garments.  Made from merino and cashmere, the pieces have that ‘stroke me’ feel to them, making a viable 2014 winter staple choice!

Grab some cool brogues, pop on your darkest lippy and rest assured you will still look like a lady wearing Standard Issue’s Twist and Twirl Collection.

We adore this! Click here to check out the full collection online, here to 'Like' Standard Issue on Facebook and here to follow Standard Issue on Instagram.
