Nominated for the 2024 Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role, the elegant Carey appeared unscathed by the flashing paparazzi lights, holding a poised smile for anyone who prompted her.

Celebrity Makeup Artist, Nina Park, talked about her focus for the Oscars, expressing that she aimed for impeccable skin preparation to achieve a flawless, golden radiance. Seeking to accentuate Carey’s innate beauty while infusing “subtle touches of modernity”, Nina spoke to Carey’s already glowing complexion which served as the perfect canvas for a dewy makeup look. Careful attention was given to defining her brows to elegantly frame her face, while Carey’s eyes were softly sculpted with neutral tones for a subtle yet defining effect.
