Weekly Wrap Up with recycled fishing nets, cosy jumpers, and skincare made from orchids...

It's that time of the week again! Here are a few things we have been discussing in the office, brought to you from the world of fashion and beauty.

Away With The Butterflies

Zoë & Morgan has announced their new collection, Niña Florestra, which was dreamt up deep in the Peruvian Amazon, from a tiny hut surrounded by butterflies and hummingbirds. The jewellery brand has introduced a new texture to their repertoire, tiny pyramids that shimmer as they catch the light dangling from necklaces and earrings, paying homage to the timeless symbols of Peru’s indigenous communities. Keep an eye out for this collection in store and online soon!

Orchid Soft

Maison Guerlain has just revealed its new-generation age-defying skincare: Orchidée Impériale Gold Nobile, and invited our Editor-in-Chief Amber to check it out on their wellness retreat. The retreat featured yoga, a sandbath, and a facial using the new serum. The product uses extracts of the Gold Nobile orchid, selected from among 30,000 species, as well as 94% naturally derived ingredients, to amplify the major signs of skin youthfulness and luminosity.  Safe to say Amber is hooked after her luxurious trip away.

Reduce, Reuse, Re-Nylon

Prada is advocating for the ocean with their 2024 Re-Nylon Collection. Taking responsibility through action is at the heart of the collection, which unveils the fashion house’s commitment to eradicate all Prada virgin nylon. The regenerated nylon, created through the recycling and purification of plastic collected from the ocean and landfills, is the same high quality without the harm. On top of this, 1% of the collection’s sales supports SEA BEYOND, an educational program raising global awareness on sustainability and ocean literacy principles, and educating young generations around the world. Prada is taking a great step forward, showing that luxury and sustainability can go hand in hand.
